Start of something new?

So lent is over. There are a couple of good things about that. One: I can go on myspace now. Lol. Though now for some reason, myspace is pretty boring. Lol. What a huge change, right?! Two: I can eat meat on fridays. I think that was the hardest challenge for me. I love food especially meat! Lol. My sponsor told me that there are some people who don't eat meat throughout the whole year, not just for lent. I think I should start practicing it like that. Lol.

Yeah these are the only two reasons that I am relieved that lent is over. Now it's easter season. To be honest, this is my first time ever experiencing the whole liturgical year. I never went to any holy day of obligation before. I never attended the tridium (sp?) masses before. Yeah, I've been very consistant with going to mass lately. Kept my new years resolution to go mass every sabbath day. Yay me! [:

Yeah anyways, this past four days of easter was insteresting. Starting off with thursday, rough start for me. I was very moody for some reason. Lol. Lasted throughout friday. Even with my grumpy self, I still attended mass. Sat by myself like a loser. Haha. On friday I also got a surprise from ryan, I mean a surprise from his hair. Lol. Saturday was also interesting. I went to the easter vigil and father Jim and deacon Ron was dancing around the church. Yeah, apparently that happens every year, what have I been missing all my church life?! They were yelling out 'amen!' and 'alleluia!' lol. Cool.

Then came sunday. Most interesting day of the weekend. I wake up to my sister's voice. When I open my eyes, I see her holding a little pink, glittery egg in front of my face. Yeah, my boyfriend decides to put me on an easter egg scavenger hunt. So the first two eggs was at my house. He gave me a CATHOLIC bible. Lol, landon and anthony was teasing my bible cause it wasn't a catholic bible. Ehhh! My best friend Esther gave it to me on my first retreat! Ha. He also gave me a stuffed duck plush whom I named paul as in st paul. The next egg was hidden at starbucks. Lol ran into craig who was guarding the egg. Then I went to asing. Some kid stole my egg, but I found my rose. Lol junior called me up to tell me where my next egg was. Headed to waipahu where we had our first kiss. It lead me to kunia where junior awaited with lunch and a cake that said "will you go prom with me?" [: yeah, I was happy.

I don't know, I am happy yet I'm sad with some things. Have you ever felt like that? I ended my lent season and began this easter season feeling a bit lost. Like I don't know what I'm suppose to do with all these things that I've been given. It sucks because I've been given so many opportunities to serve and stuff but I didn't take them. Or I would take it, but other things would be in my way like work or school. I don't know what is my calling in life. And NO, it's not being a nun anymore. So i thought...but now that May is coming and soon I'll be confirmed, I'm thinking more and more about what I am called to do. Usually things like this come easy to me. I sorta thought I had the gift of hearing God (call me crazy) but lately I haven't been hearing him, or maybe just the fact that I wasn't taking the opportunities of hearing what he has to say. AHH, duh mailyn!?

So there's no lesson on this blog, just how my week went. Tonight is confirmation class, sorta not looking forward to it. Gotta do my hours and my letter to the deacon.
