7 more days

"I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth

And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord

Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary

Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried

He descended into hell

The third day he rose again from the dead

He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty

From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead

I believe in the Holy Ghost

I believe in the holy catholic church: the communion of saints

The forgiveness of sins

The resurrection of the body

And the life everlasting

Amen. "

Now there's a song for this. I totally love it. But for some reason I can only sing the song. When it comes to praying the apostle's creed, I can't remember it. Lol. There's also the other creed, Nicene Creed, which we pray every sunday after the homily. It's longer, but I can remember that one better.

The thing about the creed is that people say it without even meaning it. I'm guilty for that. Lately I've been hearing the song on the radio, a lot. Now I've been really meaning it from my heart when I sing along. "I believe in God the father, almighty maker of heaven and maker of earth." Yeah, I believe. God truely made everything around us. He didn't make evil though. I had this conversation with my group at lifenight one night. Like darkness, there's no such thing as it. It does not have any life in darkness, no energy to call it real. Light, on the other hand, has energy to live, therefore it is real. Darkness is just a word we use when light is absent. Evil is just a word we use when God's love is absent and God's love is only absent where it is not welcomed.
Lol, kinda off subject but i was over hearing a conversation with my friends. They were talking about sticking up the middle finger. Everyone knows sticking up the middle finger is a bad thing. Actually, it isn't. God MADE your body, even your middle finger. And God doesn't make evil, therefore your middle finger isn't evil. People just symbolized the middle finger as a bad thing. It's not real because God's love is absent when people stick middle finger for bad reasons.

"And in Jesus Christ his only begotten son, our Lord. He was concieved by the Holy Spirit. Born of the virgin Mary." I believe in the Holy Spirit. I believe in the Holy Trinity. I had an arguement with a friend of mine about the Holy Trinity -- God the father, God the son and God the Holy spirit all as one. He didn't believe that. Man, I hate arguing with Jehova's witness'. Lol. Why argue when we all believe in the same God!? I got this sybolism from my sponsor; how many forms can water take? Solid as in ice, liquid as in water, and gas as in vapor. All three different things yet it is still water. The Holy Trinity is all one God in three forms. Get it? Well yes, I believe. Jesus was born of a VIRGIN, and her name was Mary. And I believe that he was concieved by the Holy Spirit. I believe in the Holy spirit, He says Hi btw.

"Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead" Now I seen the Passion of the Christ. I cried watching it too. And I believe! He suffered such a horrible death. I cannot imagine the pain he went through. People sacrafice themselves just to see the pain he suffered. I think people in the philippines do. I also think about stigmata: People who suffer the pain that Jesus went through by supernatural causes. Some poeple see it as a blessing. Well anyways, He rose from the dead. It is soon easter and we'll we celebrating that. What I truely believe in is that he will come back to judge the living and the dead. In book of Revelation, it states that Jesus will come to judge us all in the end of the world. Yeah, he will judge us all. That's why we need to live a christ-like life. Our God is a forgiving God, but we cannot take advantage of that.
"I believe in the Holy Ghost, I believe in the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, The forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body, And the life everlasting." So I said I believe in the Holy Spirit. Everything I believed. I mean if you say you believe in God, you gotta believe in what the apostle's creed says. It wouldn't make sense if you didn't. I believe in life everlasting. I look forward to life everlasting. I just can't help but wonder how it will be, can you?
"Amen." It's actually pronounced as "AH-MEN." lol. I learned that at lifenight. Cause they don't pronounce alleluia as "eh-leluia" Lol. Anyways, Amen means "I believe." That's why we end the creeds with AMEN. Even before when we recieve the eucharist, the priest would say "Body of Christ" and you respond as "Amen." Cause it's not bread anymore, its Jesus' actual body. And you should believe in it. AMEN!!
So I do not know why I am writing about the creed. The song is just always stuck in my head now. Lol. Well I'm off to go to church soon. Then hang with my girls whom I haven't seen in forever.
7 more days: (I think?) "I believe what I believe, it's what makes me what I am. No i did not make it, no it is making me. It's the very truth of God and not an invention of any man."
