ADVENT

So for the last few sundays I haven't been to mass. I know, its bad. Work is always getting in my way. I figured that I could work in the mornings and go evening mass, but my schedule doesn't allow me to have some rest. So by the end of the week, I'm tired as heck and I end up missing mass.

Well I'm at Justin's house for a KAC party. I just finished watching a video on Nowey's page. Biggest epiphany ever! Made me realize that NOTHING should get in my way of going to mass every sunday. Especially that christmas is coming up! I haven't celebrated the coming of Jesus at all this month. I haven't done anything that I was planning on doing. Like toys for tots and visiting the shelters. Geez!

So all that I can do without getting fired or quitting toys r us, I'm gonna call in sick tomorrow. I was planning to go rest but you know what? I'm gonna go to morning at evening mass. I'm gonna buy my toy for toys for tots and give cans at the church. God has been so good to me lately, I haven't had time to give him thanks, AT ALL. Seriously, he's given me the best christmas ever and it didn't cost a dime. He's given me my family, my friends, a job, the strength to get pass the first half of senior year, happiness, and hope (:

So I end this here.
Heavenly Father, I give you thanks and praise. You have done so much for me and I have just been taking. I ask for your forgiveness of my sins. I pray that you give me the strength to grow in my faith and that I don't miss any more confirmation and RCIA classes and masses anymore. And I pray for my sponsor Landon and my God sisters. They have been a huge blessing! And my friends, KAC, RWS, the girls, WLB, the ballers, the krooked 5, 96706 dance squad, FCCLA and last but never ever least, lifeteen. I pray that you will come again, Lord Jesus Christ, and save us once again. And Happy Birthday (: Amen.
