The Homeless Man and his Dog.

I went to my orthrondontist appointment one day. Missed my first period because it was in the morning. It was a quick check up. I came in at 8 and finished at 8:30. So I decided to go eat at burger king across the street. I ate outside of burger thing on those benches all by myself. lol. I had that egg and spam platter with rice, was super good (: Well I started to get full and was planning to throw my food away, but something told me not to. Then this old homeless man pushing a safeway cart full of his things came. He left his cart outside and went inside burger king to use the bathroom, I guess. I decided to leave the the man my food, since I was full already and there was still a lot of food left.

I placed my food on his cart (being careful not to touch it) and started to walk away. Then I felt someone looking at me. I turned around and this fluffy, dirty white dog came from behind the cart. It looked sad and hungry and needed a bath, badly. I got kinda scared that it might attack me or it could of had some sort of disease. Strangely, I started to talk to it. First I told it to go away, hoping he wouldn't tranmit some disease! I started walking again and it started to follow. I stopped and it stopped. Then I told it that I didnt have any more food! I told it that I promise his owner will give him food. It just stared at me with its cute, round eyes. I started to walk and again, it followed. I told it that I had some soda if It wanted. Again, it just stared. Then I made a run for it, hoping that he wouldn't run after me! I hid in the corner hoping it wouldn't find me. I waited a while and then it found me, walking calmly. It saw me and just stood there, staring.

I realized that it was pretty tame. It stayed for a while, then started walking back to the cart. It stopped and gave me one last look, then walked to the cart. I walked pass and seen that the homeless man came back out. I thought he was talking to himself, like what most homeless people do. But then I realized that he was praying. That touched me soooo much. After, he closed his prayer with the sign of the cross and opened my platter. The first thing he did was give the small dog a piece of spam. He and the dog looked very happy.

I felt pretty good about myself. I wanted to go back and give him more food! Lol. That night I prayed for that old man, as he must of prayed over me for giving him food. For everyone reading this, do a good deed. Karma goes around and it feels sooo good (:
