FAQ - Frequently asked question

FAQ at champs sports pearlridge: what is that noise?! Fyi: it's not an earthquake. It's acutally the damn movies upstars making the rumbling noises that I guess are the sound effect bass. Kinda irritating actually, and you wonder why champs play their music videos so loud.

So my neighbor customized his car license plate to the words: U SURE. Now you would think, 'if I'm gonna spend money to custom make my plate, I'd choose my words wisely.' Well I asked my neighbor, why the heck did you choose U SURE?! Yeah, he wasn't exactly SURE why he chose it.

Frequently asked question: are you sure? It gives you the opportunity to think again, to change your mind, to make a better decision.

So I'm hanging with my boyfriend and we're having so much fun together. It's so hard to say goodbye to him everytime one of us has to leave. He walks me to my door and we say our final "goodbyes" and "good nights." "I love you" and "I love you more." I walk inside my house and run straight toward my balcony just to see him walk back to his car.

And as I watch him walk away, I think about the past and who I use to be. I use to be the party girl that everyone knew was up to no good. I was known as the girl who had a different guy every month. I was never so sure about being in relationships. It was all about partying and having fun. Living life as if nothing else mattered.

Well now everything matters: the things I do, the things I say, who I am with, who I am not with. It all matters now, whether I like it or not. I gave up that bad girl life, didn't I?

Straight ahead, I look up and I see my neighbor's car: U SURE? I hate to face the fact that that part of me will always be somewhere inside of me. No, I'm not sure if I gave up that life, but I'm doing it for my boyfriend. I wanna make this relationship work. I wanna spend a real long time with him. (Saying forever might jinx it) I love my boyfriend.

"U SURE?" I'm staring at my neighbor's car. Yeah, there's some kind of purpose why he chose those words for his plate. Yeah, there's some kind of reason why he parks his car right in front of my balcony. I really hate my neighbors car. For one thing, it's one of those kind of cars that make those irritating "vrrrrrroooooom!!!" sounds. And another thing, that irritating vroooom sound always comes home around 4 in the morning. Now it's able to talk to me, asking me a question that I might now even know the answer to!? U SURE?

Just like the roaring noise of the theaters, you can't do nothing about it. The past is burned there, for good. And no matter how loud you try to make your music videos, it will still over power you. That is, if you let it.

Final statement: Hells yeah, I'm damn sure.
