I want what I don't need

The difference between "want" and "need" isn't much of a big difference. Yet we tend to fight for the things we want rather than the things we need. We never do take the time to be thankful for what we got. We always gotta point out what other people have that we don't. We grumble and we complain that things never go our way. Yet we fight for the things we want rather than the things we need.

Oh who am I kidding? I am one of those people who only focus on the things I want. When I don't get the things I want, I always think to myself: "Why don't I deserve it?!" I want a car, but I don't exactly need it. I want a significant other, but I don't exactly need one. I want freedom, but I don't exactly need it. Though, I do feel that I deserve every single one of these things.

So I just have to face the fact that my life isn't burger king. (You should already know the saying, I've mentioned it a lot in my blogs) There is one thing in particular that I don't understand why I cannot have. It's been on my mind for days and as much as I try to tell myself that I don't need it, my desire to have it just keeps getting stronger and stronger. I've been told that "it isn't the right thing for me" with no reason behind why. I've been told that it's like cats and dogs having sex, never going to happen. Lol. Funny way to put it, right?

Yeah, we are all blind to what God has planned for us. He could have it in flashing lights right in front of our face, but we're often distracted by the things that WE WANT, not the things He wants for us.

Dear reader,
don't have wide screen vision like what I have (literally and figuratively). Open you're eyes to what God has planned for you. He knows what you need, you just gotta forget about the things you want.
