Confidentiality. There are a lot things that I am not allowed to mention about this retreat. The kind of thing where if I told you, then I'd have to kill you. lol. All I gotta say is that if you are not in confirmation yet or haven't been confirmed, jump on it right away. This was one of the most interesting retreats I've ever been on.
So we stayed at St. Anthony's in Kalihi. It is suppose to be haunted. The retreat center use to be some sorta orphanage. lol. The boys had their own little ghost friend: Billy. Haha. They played in his room the whole dang night! Especially Ken! That guy has some crazy guts! Well they mocked the spirits but it was me and lindsey that had a scary experience. It's more like "you gotta be there" to know how fricken scared we were.
So we arrive at the place and we put our luggages in our rooms. Me and Lindsey were roomates. It's a bit scary because we were set farther apart than any of the other girls. In our room we had name tags above our beds. I put my luggage on a chair next to my bed and lindsey put hers on a table next to her bed. After we settled down everyone went down to the hall. I'm pretty sure no one was up in the rooms. Everyone that was involved in the retreat stayed in the hall. Well we went back to our rooms and I realized that our room changed. Our name tags had switched and our bags were touched and put somewhere else. I was thinking that someone was playing a trick on us, but no one was even near the rooms. Lindsey was freaking out and I realized why. Above our room door had the number 13. WTHHHH?! So all the girls put their beds in the middle hall between each dorm. It was fun sleeping with the girls! lol.
I wish I could mention what else happened, but I can't. I can say this though: God is real. He watches your every move. He knows your every thought. He knows more than you know about yourself. Stop trying to see him to believe in him. Believing is seeing. And when you do believe, he will show himself to you. Trust in him and only then will you see.
